Sam Wazan

CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER

Sam co-founded Aris in 2019.  He is a successful entrepreneur with startup experience, including an IT services consulting firm which he formed in 2000 and sold in 2005.  Prior to forming Aris, he provided strategic and best practices consulting services to Volvo, Monsanto, ConAgra, International Paper, The Wall Street Journal Office Network and similar entities.  In 2009 he authored Trapped in Four Square Miles, a novel which reflects his personal goal to catalyze peace, understanding, and dialogue across ethnic, religious and cultural lines; the novel hit #1 on Amazon. In 2015, he built a specialty athletic training business from which he extrapolated data to produce flagship guaranteed-gains training programs. Sam is a former basketball athlete. During his college years, he represented his nation internationally for three years.

Matthew Eller

MANAGING PARTNER

Matt co-founded Aris in 2019.  Matt is a former competitive college athlete with a passion for early adoption of enabling technologies and best practices in athletic training to achieve higher on-court and on-field performance.  Matt is a successful owner of an athletic training and performance business in the Charlotte, NC region where he has continuously observed, documented, and refined training techniques.  He brings first-hand experience and knowledge to Aris’s products and services. Before entering the sports performance space, he worked in business development in the food industry including the family-owned business Great Lakes Cheese, and US foods. 

Orville Lunking

ACTING CFO

Orville Lunking is a senior executive with extensive experience in corporate finance, treasury, distressed debt, restructuring, banking and investment banking, and financial derivatives at large corporations such as General Motors, Honeywell, Sara Lee, Smithfield Foods, Novelis, Babcock & Wilcox and Bankers Trust.  Orville has an undergraduate degree in geography from Dartmouth College and an MBA in Finance from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.
